These are the results of the combinations of my serious lack of enough knowledge in flash and my stong desire to do sth about the Christmas.I 'm not a Christian but I am happy when I hear the X mas songs :)
I decided I wanted to do one in every year ...and well...that decision lasted for 2 years :P

My very first digital photography

My interest in photography starts when I was in like 8th grade .I didn't have a camera that time .One of my rich friends has it.I was interested in that so called thing a lot that I remembered quite lots of dreams in which I got my own camera.I got my first camera like after 11th grade which is a film camera with no manual settings .I took pics and went to the print shop where they made miserable enough to crop my prints a lot.I wish I could learn darkroom at that time but there was no chance.That's why I turned into digital photography which I can edit my pics by myself.But now,I'm learning darkroom :DThinking back the time,I think some of my dreams came true even though they may not come in the way I want it.But,well..it's reality...you can't get anything perfect.I should at least be glad about that even though I'm getting old day by day.

Below are some of my old digital photography.
I borrowed the camera of my friend's aunt and took that picture "Spring Angel"
I was really excited at that time bcoz I never handled that kind of advanced point and shoot camera before and I was like yay...I got the bokeh...It was really funny bcoz when I first know photography,I thought making the background out of focus is tat only the professional photographers can do :D and I was pretty glad by the result.

the other 2 pics were taken with my 2 mg pixel little olympus compact camera and you can see the reolution here is really downhills.

Thinking back of my very first interest in media arts ..:)
With a 2 mega pixel small camera ,I rook pics a lot ,unsatisfied the results and wanted more.
Sometimes,living in the world where quality= money is quite suck!

STILL LIFE THROUGH THE YEARS.

How it is now?
At a quarter past three
difficult ,lovely,painful and good

The moon on the lake is especially nice
in middle age or otherwise.
Those kind of intervals meeting at once.
Those in music,those in time,
Those come across and meld in mind.

Coming together,staying apart ,
Lost in diversion and dancing starts.

This is the assignment we have been given to take photographs from the meaning of it.
I like this assignment so much because it did challenge me .I was having a very busy week and didn't have time to think about it and the deadline was drawing nearer day by day.I was kindda depressed ,read it again and again and i took a shower and it hit me.

Some people thought I am a fool for really thinking about it since it's so easy to look for the meaning in the internet nowadays.Yes,may be I am but I was born as an original..so i don't want to live and die as some kindda copycat.I want to do something that I can be proud of myself.And,it is not me who wants to live in the shadows of somebody's thinking and If you want to call this madness,I will gladly aceept it.

And also,I think poetry is not like scientific explanations...I will only ask someone "how would you feel about it? " instead of "What is the explanation?"

I read this poem and I felt like it's something that will still forever even though the things around are changing ..there will be something that will remain for eternity..and in my thinking ,I saw the university.

"How it is now
At a quarter past three?
difficult,lovely,painful and good"

I felt that the university is being asked about how does it feel after a period of time.
Since there are different kind of students ,how does it feel to have them...difficult ?lovely?painful? good?

I felt that is the university which will stand still forever ,unchanged ,stuck in forever in a timeless frame with no limitation.

"Those kind of intervals meeting at once

those that come across and meld in mind"

I felt those are different students who has different thinkings in their mind..some of their thinkings will meet in the music for some moments,some wil be left in the time and some will be stuck in their mind and will live with their life together.

Staying apart,
Lost in diversion
and dancing starts"

This is the most beautiful part of the poem.I felt that this is the students who come together to the university ..but their thoughts are staying apart...and they will be lost without each other in their own diversion of their thoughts and once that moment they realize something about their life,they will go on with that sparkling moment which I felt as "dancing starts" . It only needs 1 second to change a person's life and this is that "Dancing starts" moment that will lead you the way you have to go for your life.

That's what I feel about that poem!
So,How do you feel about it?
